MechWarrior is a game where you control a massive 100 ton walking tank of doom! (20-100 tons...) You customize your machines with many weapons including lasers missles auto cannons huge rifles thunderbolts missles ER PPC many many (even artillery ) Instead of destroying your opponet as a whole you can choose to strip your opponet of their armor and weapons bit by bit shooting off their limbs util they crash and fall beneathe your feet as you laugh in sweet victory!




As of Legend of Mana, (one person on this forum already plays this,) you start off as choosing to be either a boy or girl, (if you ahve trouble on this part, I honestly don't blame you I thought both of them were girls at one point,) and then your off on your adventure! Instead of walking on the world map, you amke the world map usin artifacts imbued with ancient magic to make lands. You partake in many events and three main stories as you search for the Mana Tree. You can make your own magic, make your own weapons, even make golems, train pets, and best of all, 2 player awesome saucness! XD

I loved Legend of Mana, but it only really got fun when I beat the game once, pulled up a forge guide, made a superbadass sword, and rocked it in Hell Mode. It's too easy otherwise.

Deathbringer's the coolest boss in the game. And exclusive, too!

Elazul was my favorite character EVER until I got Disgaea. After that, he remained my favorite. Elazul ftw.

HA. Elazul is a big whiner, and way too much of an emo kid. OMG PERL WHAR DID U GO DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN ;~;
Then Black Pearl shows up and makes him stfu. And the sword he gives you to "protect Pearl" with is a complete joke. His only redeeming moment is making a turn around at the end, but since it takes the entire game to finish his character development, you're stuck with an emo kid knight-wannabe for most of the game.

Kathinja, on the other hand, is

• A total hotty
  
• Attitude incarnate

Fafnir is an awesome mech but you can't top my Orion! Heavy Large Lasers LBX Cannons, it's an ultimate short range machine! You need to download 3.02b if your wondering why you've never palyed it, you get tons of new mechs in the update! If you can make it online with us, the clan name and tags are Avalon Knights {AK} and my name is {AK}Nuetral. I don't tihnk there will be anymore mech games though, I read a GameInforemer magazine that said they wren't. >.<

Bah my aim sucks at long range fighting, I prefer a close range assault on the enemy, my favorite is getting into a heavily armored 4 LBX AC 20 mech (Annhilator) and just sit in a hill, wait for an enemy to wlak by, them BAM they die in like 3 hits XD Piss of my clan mates like that ;P
Also with Rocket Launchers, like a thunderbolt missle, except reloads like a machine gun XD

Could never get the hang of Mechwarrior. Controls far too funky.

But sweet merciful lord, something clarify tempering in LoM for me! Game says far too little about it to be helpful.

EDIT: Alright, I think I get the gist of it. But I'm still confused.

1. Essence tempering (Increases power, important for later steps)
2. Secondary/Plunge attack tempering (tossing in stuff to add secondary effects)
3. Varnish (finish off the weapon)

EDIT2: A couple of fansites down, and I think I've got it! I finished a LorimarlIron Sword with 317 power (6 essence across the board)
I just need to work a little on getting the plunge attacks in....except one of them is a total biotch to work with and reduces stats :s

Yeah, LoM has a horribly complex tempering system, but that's what makes it so awesome. Even the best recipe available online (Dior Wood bow, I think? Or was it a sword..) still has room for improvement, I bet.

For bows and swords, yes but they're faster than most power weapons (and the reason why I prefer them)

They already have a 999 ATK +9 stats DiorWood Axe recipe.

I have an idea on how to fix my weapon's stats while getting the plunge attacks I want, but it'd take a whole bunch of Spiny seeds to do it, and those are very hard to come by.

Unfortunately, I screwed up on Poulty's stats, so I probably have to catch another :s

EDIT: Done, and got a 99 Luck box. Sadly, to get the best I'd need Rocket Papayas. Lots of them.
And they're really rare to grow.

EDIT3: Finally finished with my newbie sword! Accursed Bumpkin/Clown cards limit the stat bonuses to 9 :s
